Pre Madman nationals and exam update!

I AM SO FRACKING CLOSE TO FINISHING EXAMS!!!! SOON I WILL BE FREE!!!XDDD
My last exam is tomorrow morning at 9:00am, its studio art theory which i paid no attention in whatsoever, choosing instead to just bum around on DA . So i will prob go shit, but my folios have got 100% so far, the exams only 30%, so no biggy.

Not much news on the house of cosplay, as we still haven't found a house but we are looking hard! so for the moment we are just of cosplay... BAD JOKE IS BAD!!! XD

This weekend is the Madman nationals, which is awesome for several reasons:
1. its a con, all cons are awesome!! Plus catching up with epic con friends!!
2. There shall be a prop and armour panel im co-hosting with the person below! XD
3. the epically awesome and Delicious will be staying with us to plan for epic WCS smex!!! WE WILL BE AWESOME!! (see what did thar )
I'm still not exactly sure what ill cosplay, its between Spike and desert punk. Desert punk is a LOT of layers, and in this heat it would be a bitch and 1/2, so if its hot, spike, if its cool enough, Desert Punk.

Other news for cosplays next year:
I've been invited to join the FFX group at SMASH comprised of some of the best cosplayers in aus, most of them have been inspirations for me since i started cosplaying, so its absolutely awesome to have been invited into a group with them!! Some of these awesomely smexy people include: I'm pretyt sure there are others in the group too, but i don't know who you are yet!!!! XDD

I'm sure there was other stuff i was gonna write, but my brain has since melted in the heat... Look out for the madman national weekend report next week some time!!

2010 plans:
I was going to start with "I'm glad that the convention season is over" but realized i have two more in the next 3 weeks...
so,

Now that all the work on my cosplays is done, aside from possibly finishing off Desert Punk for the madman nationals and some small repairs to my ODST armour, I'm quite relieved. Since now i can take all the good and bad from my first full year of cosplaying at every con I've been too, look at both the conventions and my cosplays, and then figure out what cosplays will be best for me at what conventions for next year.
Do i think about this to much? Yes. But thats not the point.

In a matter of 2 weeks, I'm going to be free completely of the heavy chain that is school, I'm not going to uni right away, i can finally take a year or two off to just relax, work my part time job, and use every spare minute either being lazy or cosplaying. This is the life for me

Anyway, in the last few days I've had some cool ideas along with a few friends of mine for cosplays for next year, I'm attempting to choose cosplays more suited to my body type, although i am planning on loosing a bit of fat and bulking up some more muscle. Here is the list:

Supanova melb
-ODST game version or 'We Are ODST' live action version.

Aniamnia sydney (WCS first round)
-SECRET

Animania melb
- Lieot Stienburg or Grave.

Supanova brisbane
-ODST game or WETA version (depends what fellow 405th members want me in)

Christchurch Armageddon:
-Spike (to meet Steve Blum in)
-Lieot Stienburg (another one of Steve Blum's characters)
-ODST

Manifest:
-Spike for amaranth (wont have time for anything new with WCS this year)
-Lieot Stienburg (again)
-Auron from Final Fantasy X OR re-use first round WCS costume
-Possible Final fantasy group with friends. (Not Auron)

Main animania (WCS finals)

As soon as i have finished exams and moved out, i can get to work on all these, and some more cool projects that i will reveal as i make them.
I'm going to attempt to get the ODST armour, Lieot Stienburg, and most of the first round WCS stuff done before what would normally be the end of school holidays. This will leave plenty of time to actually be READY for all the cons this year without having to do a heap of last min work. Who knows, i might even be able to fit in some other costumes if i have the money.

COMMISSIONS!!!
As soon as things get up and running in the new house i will asses what time slots i have available for commissions, i have been getting a fair few few requests (not many on DA, but a lot elsewhere). So keep your eye out for that. and as soon as i have moved i will catch up on armour orders, and then decide if i will continue offering casts of ODST armour parts.


Now for the life update:
Just bought a car from somewhere in sydney, its a 97 EL Fairmont, in dark shiny blue. Automatic, and I'm going to put it on gas. Now i just need my P's!!!!!
Exams start this friday!!!! I've done shit all study, but honestly i don't mind, I'm not that fussed about my enter score, since the majority of courses i want to apply for are just folios and interviews. Ill still try i guess.
